Childrens Activities Coordinator (Camp Loggerhead)

The purpose of the "Camp Loggerhead" Children's Activities Coordinator position is to ensure children make new friends while enjoying a mini-vacation at our Sarasota family resort! Essential Functions:
Design activities for children aged 5 to 12.
Keep children engaged in fun activities and encourage them to make new friends while enjoying a mini-vacation.
Arrange an exciting array of activities from art and crafts to on-property excursions and educational programs under the supervision of the camp coordinators.
Become certified in first aid, CPR and AED usage (Paid by resort)
Ensue a safe and fun atmosphere for little campers to play, learn and make new friends.
Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Prior experience working with children
Early Childhood Education Certificate a plus but not required
Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to build relationship with members, guests and our little guests
Ability to resolve concerns in a professional, tactful manner
Ability to acknowledge difficult situations and respond accordingly
Comfortable working with people of all ages
Ability to tolerate loud noises
Firmly but tactfully enforce polices and procedures
Excellent time management and organizational skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
